SELVA International was founded by Ph.D. ecologists to promote a new conservation ethic. Unlike most conservation organizations, we don't waste money on fancy gimmicks or expensive projects. We know that things like poverty and lack of awareness cause people to over-consume their natural resources. So, we help local communities implement their own science-based conservation programs, which are lower cost and more sustainable than projects run by outside organizations. SELVA addresses the root of environmental issues by promoting conservation where everyone can make a difference. SELVA is Conservation Done Right.
